Sam is a software engineer with 25 years experience mostly in real-time combat training systems for the Army.  He graduated from San Diego State University in 1987 with a B.S. in Computer Science.  Sam has professional experience on a wide variety of hardware platforms using the following languages: Java, Objective-C, C#, C, and Ada.  The worldwide success of the iPhone and iTunes App Store inspired him to learn the iPhone SDK and Objective-C in his spare time.  Since then, he has written several iPod Touch and iPad apps that are in use at combat training sites and command centers.
